The Ryedale Show is one of the largest competitive displays of livestock and rural crafts in Yorkshire, set in the beautiful parkland of Duncombe Park.
It offers a fantastic day out for all ages, with over 250 craft, trade and local food stalls, alongside free children’s activities, live entertainment, vintage tractors, sheepdog trials, a brass band and animals throughout the showground.
In the Main Ring for 2026, visitors can enjoy highlights including Mounted Games, Heavy Horses, the Grand Parade of Champions and Vintage Tractor displays. Around the showground, there is a full programme of events including show jumping, ridden fancy dress and qualifiers for prestigious competitions such as the London International Horse Show and the Burghley Young Event Horse classes. Additional attractions include a fun dog show (enter on the day), gundog displays, and sheepdog trials to watch and enjoy.
The show also celebrates local talent and traditional skills, with competitions for produce, arts, crafts and photography. Children can take part in free art and craft competitions (entry in advance), as well as races, activities and a treasure hunt on the day, all with prizes to be won.
