When is Ryedale Show?
Ryedale Show is held annually on the last Tuesday in July.
Where is the Show held?
Ryedale Show takes place at Duncombe Park, Helmsley.
Can I buy tickets on the day?
Yes. Tickets can be purchased at the gate on show day by card payment.
Is there parking?
Yes. Free parking is available adjacent to the Showground.
What are you doing to improve traffic and parking this year?
We’ve introduced a number of improvements for 2026 to make your arrival and departure smoother:
- Advance roadside signage on the A170 to help manage traffic and encourage non-show traffic to use alternative routes
- A clearer one-way system into Helmsley to reduce congestion
- Designated alternative routes around Helmsley for non-event traffic
- Improvements to access roads within the Showground to reduce dust and keep vehicles moving efficiently
- A dedicated professional team managing all on-site parking and vehicle movements throughout the day (rather than relying solely on volunteers)
These changes are part of a wider traffic management plan designed to improve flow and reduce delays for visitors .
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads at all times.
Is there a Fun Dog Show?
Yes. The Fun Dog Show runs from midday and is open to all friendly dogs.
What can visitors expect to see?
A full day of entertainment including livestock classes, equestrian events, trade stands, local food and crafts, vintage displays, and main ring attractions.
